  • It is not:
    • A spam machine

What are the benefits of the District News List?

  • District Events can be placed on the District Calendar where everyone can see them
  • District Event Reminders can be sent for every event on the District Calendar
  • District Event Last Minute Updates can be made and communicated immediately.
  • District Announcements can be sent immediately to everyone on the list

What is the proper use of the District News List?

  • Only district-wide Announcements and Events should be posted on the District News List and Calendar
    • NOTE: You can set up a Unit News List and Calendar for your Pack, Troop, or Crew
  • The subject line of all events and announcements should indicate the content so that readers can immediately decide to "read or delete"
    • Experienced news list users know...
"You don't have to read everything from a list. Your delete key is your friend. These are not personal emails."
