• Scouting volunteers need to be able to communicate in a thorough, timely manner regarding events, trainings, reference materials, etc:
  • The District Roundtable covers some but not all of this need
  • The District Web Site covers some but not all of this need
  • The District Email List covers some but... well, you get the idea

Goals

• General Public:
  • Make it easy to find open-access data, including Unit Number, Unit Type, Sponsoring Organization, Location, Meeting Night, Web Site, and Email Contact.
• Unit & District Registered Adult Volunteers:
  • Make it easy to find restricted-access data, including Name, Position, and Contact Information for fellow registered volunteers in a protected, confidential manner
  • Offer an "opt in / opt out" email communication system
